Love this shoe bench. Perfect size for the area I bought it for, the walk through from the garage into the house. Shoes were always left on the floor to trip over and now they can fit neatly in the shoe cubby holes. My husband's size 13 shoes also fit. Love it and highly recommend this product. We're overall very happy with the bookshelf and cube system. It looks great in our family room and corrals our kids' toys. We like that the bookshelf holds a lot of books and is easy for our toddler to utilize. The drawer below the bookshelf pulls out easily and fits lots of stuffed animals. Installation was easy and it’s very pretty in person. I don’t think the bench will support a lot of weight, as my 250lb husband sat on it and stated it did not feel very sturdy. Also, his size 11 shoes do not fit in the shoe storage. Bo issues holding size 6.5 shoes but I can’t imagine it would hold much larger sizes. Love this bench! It was quite an ordeal to put together but it finally all fit the way it was intended. I would however have put the handles and drawer pulls on before hanging the doors or building the drawers. I am disappointed in the cushion as it is very hard and the off-white is not that pretty with the white wood. The cushion cover is not very snug either. I plan to make a new cover to match my furnishings, so that will solve that problem. This is a good storage bench. The larger area has an adjustable optional shelf. The cushion is soft enough for extra seating but firm enough to be sturdy. I was able to put it together myself, but it was frustrating at times. Many of the holes aren’t drilled properly, making it hard to screw in things. The two doors for the larger part aren’t close enough, so you can see a space. The thing to lift up the cushion was especially difficult to screw in.
