Issued during World War II as an emergency issue after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Hawaii Brown Seal Note was a response to a possible Japanese invasion. The $1.00 United States issued currency has the word Hawaii stamped on both the right and left sides of the face of the bill. A large outline of the word Hawaii dominates the reverse of the bill. The silver $1.00 certificate is also recognizable by the brown treasury stamp and serial numbers that adorn the bill. The Hawaii Brown Seal Note is mounted in an acrylic frame and may be viewed from both the front and back sides. A certificate of authenticity is stamped on the matting.

We are happy with these wheat ear pennies and treasure chest. They look authentic and are pretty close to what you see pictured here. Discover Jefferson through mint us postage stamps and a genuine us $2 bill. The 1 cent stamp was issued on January 12, 1968, and shows the face of Jefferson. The 3 cent stamp was issued on June 16, 1938, and shows the profile of Jefferson. The $2 bill was printed from 1928-1966 and features Monticello, Jefferson's pride and joy, on the reverse. This was the first small size $2 note. A certificate of authenticity accompanies the stamps and currency.

Minted in Philadelphia from 1793 to 1857, the large cent went through seven design changes on both the obverse and reverse. The large cent displays lady liberty on the obverse. The large cent varied from 27mm to 29mm in diameter. The large cent was not minted in 1815. Certificate of authenticity is included.

Small size silver certificates were issued from 1928 to 1964, in denominations of 1, 5, and 10. Silver Certificates also known as Blue Seals and Blue Seal Notes are still legal tender but since 1968 they have been redeemable only in Federal Reserve Notes and may no longer be exchanged for silver. The 10 dollar silver certificate is housed in a protective 5 x 8 inch vinyl portfolio. The 10 dollar bill features Alexander Hamilton on the front and the US Treasury on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Just three years later, the entire $857-million program was scrapped amidst the outcry of American citizens and shopkeepers. The Susan B. Anthony disappeared from mintage faster than any coin in U.S. history, all because of a single error in design. The new coins were too similar in size to quarters. Over 150 years old, the flying eagle cent was struck for circulation in 1857 and 1858. The one cent piece was minted of a copper-nickel composition and designed by James Barton Longacre. The obverse displays a flying eagle and the reverse shows a wreath of corn, wheat, cotton and tobacco leaves. The flying eagle was too difficult to strike because of the high relief and was replaced in 1859 by the Indian head penny. Certificate of authenticity is included.

The copper Indian Head Penny was designed by James Barton Longacre and the silver Seated Liberty Dime was designed by Christian Gobrecht. The coin was issued by the Dutch East India Company otherwise known as the VOC and brought to New Amsterdam, later known as New York by their trade company, the Dutch West India Company. All U.S. currency printed prior to 1928 were known as "Horse blankets" or "Saddle blankets" due to their large size. Although similar in design to the dollar bills of today, the large size notes were almost one third larger than the smaller bills printed after 1928. The last of these large size notes was the prized One Dollar Blue Seal Silver Certificate of 1923, which features the portrait of George Washington painted by one of the nation's most famous artists, Gilbert Stuart. Introduced by an Act of Congress in 1878, Silver Certificates were backed by Silver held in the U.S. Treasury and could actually be redeemed for exactly $1 of Silver Bullion until June 24, 1968. The obligation is stated on the obverse of the Silver Certificate: "One Silver Dollar payable to the bearer on demand." The Large Silver Certificate is displayed on an acrylic frame and can be viewed on both sides. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
