(I accidentally ordered the matching chandelier for our dining room with a lower quality crystal, and my husband and I could tell the difference almost immediately; we are hoping to exchange it, because it’s worth the up charge to get the nicer crystal in our opinion.) This piece is heavy, and my husband did reinforce the metal box we had in our ceiling. But, he was satisfied with the mounting mechanics with the fixture. I believe this is going to be an awesome light. The plan is to put it in the master bathroom. However, we are in the middle of renovation and it will not be done for probably two months.
