Shouldn't be an issue at all because you can also choose HOT in the menu button. Looks lovely on my counter and next to the Bodum grinder that I also purchased years ago from Wayfair. I find that grinding my beans makes an exceptional cup of coffee. The coffee maker is perfect for 1-2 people in your household so be sure that you want an 8-cup coffee maker.
