I liked the idea of these blankets to cover my couches, so when my dogs lay on the couches they would not dirty the slip covers. However, my dogs play in a lot of dust and dirt. Unfortunately, the dirt would begin to show in two or three days on the white background of the blanket. Consequently, I was washing the covers almost twice a week. I’m waiting for a new product. I just received this so have not put it to the test or washed it. So going on the fact that it is brand new, I really do like it. It is plush and it clings to the sofa and doesn't shift around. I also love the idea of the separate arm covers. This has been the best way that I have found to cover this sofa after trying sheets and blankets.
