I feel like you can’t get any better for the price! To me, it looks high quality but it’s just particle board. The door hardware is really cheap plastic so I’ll probably replace those. The door hinges are adjustable but we couldn’t really decrease the spaces you can see between the doors, maybe it’s an us problem though. I would have liked soft close cabinets but again overall for the price I am really very happy and impressed. This traditional looking sideboard with adjustable shelves makes a great storage unit for kitchens, living rooms and entryways. It is made of MDF with a wide countertop that is water and moisture resistant and features 4 legs and a center support leg that can hold up to 275 pounds. The two drawers feature metal glides for easy maneuverability, and the cabinets below have adjustable shelves on the inside for easy storage of dishes, tablecloths and utensils, and top space for frequently used items and decorative accessories.

We are using this as a sideboard/bar in our dining room. I looked for a "distressed" black sideboard for a long time that was the right size to fit our small space, but tall enough to comfortable pour drinks and have plenty of storage space inside. Both sides have an adjustable shelf that can go up or down a notch. It took me a minute to figure out the shelf can only be moved after removing screws underneath that secure the shelf to the shelf brackets (I assume for transporting). I chose not to put the screws back in once I adjusted the shelf - no need for it, and it will make it easier to move the shelf again should I decide to. The distressed finish is actually a little more than what I thought it would be, but I don't mind since it goes well with my old window frame hanging above it. The depth of the credenza is also nice and allowed for a large lamp and tray. My only concern will be the durability of the wood. I looked for a mango wood or similar and took a gamble with this which is made of boxwood. It isn't as thick and sounds a bit hollow if you knock on the top of the piece, but the credenza is quite heavy and I am pleasantly surprised by how substantial it feels. Would recommend.. Andrea. The glass doors are a lifesaver—I no longer have to worry about my books collecting dust. Also like how the drawers can provide plenty of extra storage. Assembly was relatively straightforward. I like the look of it and the veneers look realistic. There are lots of pieces so don't plan on it being a quick build. I did on my own with no assistance. Pretty good instructions -- I did miss the strip that covers the seem of the 2 flimsy panels that go across the back of the lower cabinet so watch for that. There are no extra screws/fasteners so keep track of your parts. I found it odd that there were no covers for the shelf screws that are very visible, so I covered them with small brown felt chair leg pads. Brown contact paper would be better.. Jayne. Columbus, OH. I was impressed with the quality of the product, and visually, it’s exactly as pictured. The long boards were not marked front or back which is very important.
