I tried to provide pictures to show the measurements, color, and proportions with my mattress which is 10 inches thick. I love this bed and got the look I was going for. The product specific measurements were spot on. If you have a thicker mattress it will be higher than the footboard and the cream color has light grayish tones in my opinion so things to consider depending what you are going for.
