Extremely happy we made this purchase! The sofa came exactly as described! I was a little concerned about the actual size because of a few reviews but I feel that it’s a very good size in all dimensions. My partner already took a 2 hour nap on the sofa about 2 hours later. There was no strong chemical smell as mentioned in other reviews and the feel of the leather is very nice! It's a beautiful well made couch. But, it sits so high my feet do not touch the ground even when sitting on the edge. I am 5'4". It is a great couch to sit on for a period of time but it is too hard to lay down on, for any period of time. It is very big! I mean it is not 89 inches in total, it is more like 144" with the chaise attached. it looks and feels nice and solid, the leather is nice! the legs are actually on small caster wheels which is a nice touch, although its a little odd that it has 5 legs, 3 in the front and only 2 in the back, lol, no big deal though as it feels very sturdy. The delivery team was a little rough with it while taking it off the truck, but otherwise they did a really good job fitting it through my extremely narrow doorway (28.5 inches). and it arrived in good condition. This sofa is very comfortable, but something to note, the arms are really thick in a good way, but as a result this 89 inch couch is not long enough for a 6 foot tall man to lay down across, just slightly short on that. Not sure what parts of the couch are genuine leather. I accidentally spilled some nail polish remover on a cushion and the paint came off immediately, showing that it’s faux. I purchased this couch for several reasons. It only has three pieces and they do hook together. The back is tufted so you don’t have any back pillows that scrunched down after time. And the leather is stunning. This is a very heavy piece of furniture and made exceptionally well. It is 138 inches on the long side and requires a large room. It was packed with five layers, one of which was the thickness of a moving blanket. It was on backorder for 5 months, but very much worth the wait. This sofa was very easy to assemble. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble, with no tools needed. I especially chose that sofa for the height from the floor to top of seat cushions. It is easier to sit on and get up if you are an older person. The color is a marbleized deep red and is very neat and attractive. This sofa is probably not one you would want if you have small children bouncing on to the couch, and would not make a comfortable piece of furniture to lay on, but for people to sit on it is very comfy.
