The included dimmer is the reason to buy this lamp. Since it uses a relatively low-power bulb, it is perfect for mood lighting and ambient fill rather than task lighting. I especially like it as a side table or bookshelf lamp where you want a warm glow without taking up much space. The materials are nice, too. The fabric shade looks good, the wooden base is attractive, and the fabric-covered power cord is a nice upgrade over a standard plastic cord. My biggest complaint is the price. While the lamp looks good and functions well, there is nothing about the construction that feels especially premium or luxurious. The materials are solid but fairly standard, and the build quality is about what I would expect from a regular priced lamp. At its current price, it feels like it costs two to three times more than it should. Overall, this is a stylish and versatile little lamp that works well in a variety of spaces. The Apulia table lamp by Brayden Studio is a truly striking piece! The large shade with it’s interesting shape makes this a standout lamp. The material in blue has a suede feel and look. However the shade was damaged in shipping and got a number of dents in it. I was able to push out the dents but some can still be seen. I was offered a replacement but that was untenable since I was asked to send it back in a similar large carton then get it to a FedEx location that was not near my house. Love it. This is exactly the mustard color that I wanted, and the shade is the perfect tan color. The cord is also reaaaallllyyyy long, but you're able to hide the excess cord in the body of the lamp if you want. Assembly was super easy, and bulbs were easy to find. My one gripe, if I had to come up with something, is that it only has one brightness setting. I like the tripod lamp at the entryway. It hints that we are a family that loves photography. The linen shade rolls out. While a roll on shade is not my favorite, I do like that rather than just velcro it has small plastic latches for it to snap in place so it stays making it easier to get a snug fit. I am quite pleased with this lamp. I’ve purchased other lamps online recently and they all came with lamp shades that had to be put together by snapping to metal rings and closed with Velcro. And that’s okay, it looks okay for an inexpensive lamp. This lamp has a nice, creamy white, traditional lampshade. The ceramic base is pleasantly neutral. It’s heavy.
