This farmhouse office desk looks great in my new office. It is a western style theme, so I thought the rustic table look would go very well with the other decor in the room. Quality is great, and the desk was fairly easy to put together. The desk is smooth to the touch. This is a stunning, substantial piece for my townhome's office/den. I love the black iron bar that runs through it. Great material and color juxtaposition to the solid wood. The bar is both stylish and functional as a foot rest. No ottoman needed! One caution - the walnut is much more light cherry-ish than medium brownish walnut wood, so it hardly looks like the product photo, but thankfully it still comes across as modern, as I didn't want a traditional-looking desk.
