Looks great with our home original Brass door knobs! I bought the whole set of singles, doubles and triple switch plates. Very nice metal quality! Screws that come with are painted over and scratched off when I installed the plates. I like the detail and brassy tone of these plates. There are manufacturing imperfections like little air bubbles in the finish and small scratches in some of the plates, big enough to see but not enough to return, so you need to have a small window of tolerance for that..
