It is fine. I got the mahgoney. The color online looked lighter but it is truer to mahogany in person. I almost didnt buy because of the complaints about assembly and quality. I had no problems. If you are experienced with assembling furniture you know what to expect. Quality is what you expect for self assembly furniture. Jennifer. Durham, NC. Sat Oct 10 2026

The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

Supported by sturdy powder-coated black metal T legs, this desk combines durability with elegance, making it a perfect fit for any setting. The 1.5" thick tabletop is backed with hidden plywood for enhanced strength, ensuring it stands up to daily use in both home offices and commercial environments. Whether you’re working, studying, or dining, this versatile desk elevates your space with its warm, inviting aesthetic.

The only reason I gave a 4 star was because I believe the delivery was handled poorly. And therefore the table top was damaged. To not put it all on the delivery driver, the packaging for a 70lb. tabletop was too thin with only 2 thin styrofoam sheets to protect the top with no corner padding. I did have simple delivery instructions added to my order but they were not followed. So now to my new replaced table top, and the Great customer service I received, with a replacement shipped and received in less than a week. I just absolutely love it. Perfect color as shown with the wood graining beautiful. The thickness is more than the original top I replaced and the edging around the table makes it look custom. I used my original table base and chairs and have a whole new updated vacation home look.. Linda. US. Mon Oct 12 2026

Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!. Cheri. Hollister, MO. Sat May 16 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026
