The 2 accent chairs are good looking and comfortable. We bought them in Navy leather and the color is pretty and a true Navy. They were fairly easy to assemble. I have received a lot of great chairs from Wayfair, and this is one of them. There is nothing like a top grain leather chair well made. This is not an oversized or bulky chair, rather more streamlined and modern looking. Everyone in the family tried it and fit comfortably. The side arms are a nice medium stained solid wood that looks lovely with the black leather. I have it next to a dark grey sofa and it looks great. It is well made, and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to put it together by myself. It was heavy I suppose because of the push back mechanism underneath it. There was a lot of bolts to secure for the side sections. It was all on a metal panels and difficult to match up the holes. That is what took so much time. Also, it was a tiny area to fit your hand in and turn the screw. It was not hard, but very awkward. Eventually, it all came together nicely. It has this mid century feel, and would look nice anywhere. The cushion is a high density foam and nicely firm. I think it will hold up over time. The chair is attractive and comfortable, but it was not manufactured with care. One of the back brackets was not attached at the correct angle, so the chair back would not go down all the way. But luckily, my handyman was able to remove and reposition it. Also, the stitching on one side is crooked and doesn't cover the staples as it should. The color, style, and dimensions are as expected. It was well packaged and delivery went well. Room for improvement on the quality. The brads are not straight and go in wavy lines. They skimped on the fabric and there is one spot where they didn't have enough to fold under the brad. There is also a small scratch in the leather that almost goes through to become a tear and a couple of small scratches and dings on the legs. It appears to be solid construction although a little out of square and one leg sits a half inch off the ground, but levels out to touch the floor when I sit in the chair. Hopefully it settles square on the floor with time. It will do if you have little attention to detail, but cheap Chinese manufacturing for this price point is disappointing.. Katie. Lebanon, NH. The chair itself I like, it’s sturdy and make of heavy real wood. The chair is pretty comfortable though the quality of the cushions I don’t believe would hold up to long term use. This is in our basement so I think it will be fine for here and there. Why 4 stars The assembly was terrible. The instructions were not clear. They need to provide different Allen wrench, lucky got me my husband had a tool that helped or I was so frustrated. So get yourself the auto retract took or this will take forever to assemble due to the way the holes are set. Also note there should be another step they combined two and it was confusing to the point I had to take part off and redo. It does sit lower for a living room chair too so note that. This is a classic Martha Washington chair. Exposed wood is featured for the arm posts and legs with bead carving. The seat and back are comfortably padded. Just a touch of nailhead trim accents the tops of the legs.
