We put this light up today. It took over 2 hours, as the instructions aren’t really instructions, but the thing that helped the most was the little video included with the photos on the product page. The hardest part was getting it to tie into the existing ceiling box. That said, now that it’s installed, it’s very nice.It casts a beautiful light on the room and pulls the dining area together. We don’t think it’s worth the original cost of a thousand dollars and we’re glad we got it at such a good price.. Stained glass is handcrafted using the same technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Glass types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real glass is hand-cut and copper foil is wrapped around each individual piece. The glass pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. As part of the finishing process, oil is added to the outside of the design to protect the metal from erosion. The beauty of stained glass is its versatility when illuminated by light. Stained glass will become more vibrant when lit.

If you order it without the insignia, the whole middle accents are not included.
