I purchased this several years ago to use when I had my ceiling fan replaced. When taking down the older fan, it had a wider base and the replacement left a less then pleasing cover. Went looking for something that was lightweight and wouldn't require taking down the newly installed ceiling fan. This medallion fit the bill! Easy to install and fits together nicely.
