Anisha is a beautiful mini chandelier, featuring 5 stained glass mission shades. This chandelier would be perfect to hang over a dining room table or over an entranceway. Each shade is handcrafted, using the same methods developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. This process entails using 1000 hand-cut stained art glass pieces, each wrapped in fine copper foil and soldered together at extremely high temperatures to form each unique piece. The exact size of the nearest inch may vary, and the exact color of each glass piece may vary due to each piece being handcrafted. We put this light up today.It took over 2 hours, as the instructions aren’t really instructions, but the thing that helped the most was the little video included with the photos on the product page.The hardest part was getting it to tie into the existing ceiling box.That said, now that it’s installed, it’s very nice.It casts a beautiful light on the room and pulls the dining area together.We don’t think it’s worth the original cost of a thousand dollars and we’re glad we got it at such a good price.. Absolutely perfect stained glass light to go in my Craftsman style home built in the '20's! I got the matching wall sconces to go on either side of the fireplace and they are perfect! Shipped and packaged VERY securely. The glass itself is a lighter weight, thinner glass, but that is excellent for such a large chandelier. I have a full weight stained glass chandelier and it had to have extra bracing to even hang it. I love that this is slightly lighter in weight, but will be adding the extra protection, just in case.
