We like the sofa, overall. However, when it was delivered, we unwrapped it and discovered a dirty hand print on the back of the couch and saw that some of the cushions also were dirty. The back seems the be defective in that 23 of it is filled with a backing but the last section isn’t. Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway.
