This craft table is a perfect addition to my craft room. Delivery was great. The package was very heavy and you need 2 people to lift the box. It took me 3 days to put together because there were so many parts. I wish they had wooden dowels instead of plastic. I should’ve used glue because they kept falling out. I didn’t put the doors on because I liked the open shelves. I did not put the top on so it would fold out because I didn’t have room so just kept it folded. Everything works great! The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pain to Assemble — But 100 Worth It! I purchased two of these desks for our homeschool room, and now that they’re finished, I absolutely love them. They are beautiful, substantial, have tons of storage, and feel very sturdy. The white finish with the darker wood top looks even better in person. Fair warning though assembly is a PROJECT. The first desk took us about 5 hours, and even knowing exactly what we were doing, the second still took about 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend having two people, plenty of space, and a whole lot of patience. That being said, the instruction manual was surprisingly clear and helpful. There are simply a LOT of pieces and steps involved. Once assembled, though Worth it. They look like much more expensive pieces of furniture and completely transformed our homeschool room. I especially love all of the drawers, cabinets, shelving, and built-in desktop outlets. If you’re willing to survive the assembly process, I highly recommend them. I wanted white but it was out of stock so I got this because I needed it asap. It was relatively easy to assemble for me, an older lady with limited mobility. It took me a long time but I do move slower than I used to, lol! I like the finish color and the material used seems durable. It's heavy, not cheap stuff that is more readily available. The only issue I had was how the assembly was layered out. The lower side cabinets are connected at first with the smallest flimsy connection and any movement afterwards will stress the connections and break, as it did for me. For that, it loses half a star. However, once assembled it was very sturdy but very difficult to moveslide on carpet. Two of the front doors came damaged in shipping with small scrapes but very noticeable.
