I love this desk so much. It is easy to open and close, use it in our office/guest room. When we open the Murphy bed, we can close the desk to make room. We are very satisfied with the Farmhouse Murphy Bed. The actual product is well represented online, including the color. It took my husband about 12 hours to assemble by himself. It would go a bit faster with a second person. There were a lot of pieces and he did follow the instructions which were well written. The only reason 4 vs 5 stars due to the following: assembly time (it still would take a while for 2 people to assemble) and the cabinet would look better with screw caps giving it a finished look. No one has slept on it yet, but assume it will be fairly comfortable for guests. We would have gone with a thicker mattress but followed the guidelines to make sure the cabinet would close. The slats seem to support the mattress. We hope the mattress does not slide around too much once someone tries to sleep on it. The bed does have to be weighted down to keep it from rising off the floor if no one is on the bed. See photos showing foot of bed not weighted down and weighted down with ankle weights. We plan to place a side table to offer a night stand. The small shelf looks a bit flimsy, so we will be cautious. I am not very tall and was able to open and close with ease. This sewing table can be easily folded to 12" W and fits into a tight spot for storage. This folding table can not only be used for cutting fabric/designing patterns or as an extra workspace for craft projects but also can be used as a computer desk in the living room or dining room. You can use this collapsible table for various purposes, and it has already made it so much easier to do things.
