I searched high and low for a chair for my reading nook and finally landed on this one - and I'm so glad I did. It's just the right size. It was a bit of a bear to put together, but that's true of most online furniture like Wayfair. Took about an hour. The chair did need to puff up for about 2 days to look like this. The ottoman also has storage in it where we put blankets. Really happy with my purchase.. Ali Schwanke. Lincoln, NE. Wed Aug 19 2026

The chair is very pretty and looks perfect in the corner of my bedroom to be used as a reading spot. It was very easy to put together and actually lightweight enough that I could bring it into the house myself. I dinged it for one star because the seat cushion is very very firm- I hope it will soften up with time.. Cindy. Westerville, OH. Sun Jul 19 2026

Very soft and comfortable couch, perfect for a bedroom corner. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. I’ve had it for three days and the top cushion looks slightly larger than the bottom, but other than that it’s really nice.. Sarah. San Antonio, TX. Sat Sep 12 2026

Very good for flat-pack furniture. All the parts were packed and marked well. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I’m a female over 70 and put them together by myself—a bit more than an hour per piece. The “green” color is more greengrayslate than a true green. A video of the ottoman construction was included on the website, but not a video for the chair itself.. Prp. Chapel Hill, NC. Sun Aug 16 2026

The chase is nice design. It is actually two pieces at base(chair with cup holders and ottoman) the cushion is one piece. Not corduroy, it’s soft felt shaped like corduroy . The description was misleading). The footings are plastic.( I misread) I hoped for wood, and actual corduroy..just hope they will support 1k lbs. Otherwise, I highly recommend WAYFAIR.Oh! There is a smell when the cushions inflate. And the back is hollow. I will probably get additional support cushions... Anonymous. Mon Sep 21 2026

The high-density foam and sturdy iron frame ensure that this chair isn't just soft—it's built to last. Plus, the included ottoman adds extra flexibility, allowing you to stretch out or use it as extra seating for guests. Important Note on Fluffiness: It takes about 1 week for the Oversized Chair to fully rebound to its original fluffy state as it was when leaving the factory. To speed up the rebound, we recommend that you take out all armrest cushions and throw pillows after receiving them, and pat them firmly a few times. This helps activate the internal filling and makes them "wake up" faster. Please don't rush to leave a review if the sofa doesn't look plump enough right after unpacking! Give it some time to stretch out, and you'll gradually see it return to a comfortable and fluffy state, bringing you a better user experience.

Built with a solid wood frame and reinforced metal swivel base, this chair supports up to 350 lbs and is designed for lasting everyday use.

Overall, this is an excellent reading chair for the price. Mine arrived in two pieces and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing to note: you have to unscrew the bottom plank to access the instructions and screws. My main issue is that the fabric feels a bit on the cheaper side and arrived quite wrinkled, which made the chair look somewhat inexpensive at first. I used a steamer to smooth it out, and it now looks much better. Comfort-wise, it’s good—not exceptional, but definitely not uncomfortable. The chair is also a bit smaller than I anticipated. That said, considering the price, I think it’s a great deal for a chair like this, and I would recommend it.. Nicolas. San Antonio, TX. Wed Aug 19 2026

Perhaps one of the easiest pieces of furniture that I’ve ever assembled. It consisted of only 4 steps and one of the steps was simply placing the cushions on the assembled chaise. We are still waiting for the vacuum sealed cushions to fully regain their shape as we only assembled it this morning, but so far it looks great. It only took us 30 minutes to assemble, and if the instructions were a little more clear I would have given this 5 stars. Will see how it holds up as time passes but very happy with the overall assembly process and initial look.. Alyssa. Eastchester, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026
