I purchased this dog kennel before moving and had it shipped directly to my new address. After settling in, I assembled it myself. I was surprised it arrived in five packages, and once started putting it together, I quickly realized how heavy it is! I highly recommend assembling it exactly where you plan to use it, as it's nearly impossible to move once fully assembled. The pre-drilled holes and markings made the process easier than expected. My dog is incredibly strong and has managed to escape from every enclosure we've tried before. But with this kennel, I finally have peace of mind. He has plenty of space to move around and genuinely seems to enjoy relaxing inside. The metal roof looks sturdy, and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it holds up against rain and snow.. Sturdy but there seems to be millions of parts, screws and nuts with not great instructions. I put together but myself but would of been easier with 2 people. Quality looks good but will need to use zip ties eventually to replace the ties for the roof. Very disappointed that it went on sale right after I purchased and Wayfair does not refund difference.. I absolutely love this catio cat run and my cats are enjoying getting to be outside in the grass! I also purchased the two story heatedinsulated cat house and it fits perfectly inside. (I assembled it from inside the cat run so that I would not have trouble fitting it through the door.) The only problem I had was that some of the instructions for assembling the cat run were incorrect, but it wasn’t hard to figure out how to remedy the correction. I would also recommend using extra screws to secure the bridge, part N, to the other part N, beside it.The instructions said to build the cat boxes in the uncovered area of the cat run, but I will most likely be moving them to the covered area. Also, the instructions say it only takes 2 hours to assemble and it took us several hours to assemble. We used a Dewalt drill to assemble and I recommend this vs. only using a screw driver.. I am very pleased with this kennel. It arrived undamaged. There was no rust or bent parts. All parts were included. It was easy to put together. Why Your Cats Need a Catio? The outdoors is full of potential dangers for cats. Toxins, predators, vehicles, and even the potential of getting lost can all threaten your cat’s life. But that doesn’t mean that your indoor-only cat can’t enjoy the outdoors. A practical solution is getting a catio, which lets your cat go outdoors and enjoy plenty of fresh air while still being safely contained. If your indoor cat is bored or spends lots of time looking out the window, he might enjoy a catio.
