The vegetable cleaver, sometimes known as the Chinese chef’s knife, is a powerful chopping, slicing, and dicing implement, making it a great all-rounder in the kitchen. In addition to slicing vegetables, its powerful heft can be used to cut through large meat bones. Twin Signature knives are precision stamped from a single piece of proprietary special formula German steel, resulting in lighter weight knives that do not compromise sharpness. Combined with the Zwilling signature ice-hardening technique, these blades are harder, sharper, they will not stain or chip, and they retain their sharpness longer. To ensure an ideal cutting angle, the sharp laser-controlled edge is honed and hand-finished by the most skilled artisans. The three-rivet handle embedded with the Zwilling logo provides optimum durability.

Offering precision and a lot of power in the hand: the WÜSTHOF 8" Chinese Chef's Knife will allow you to chop a cabbage or cut wafer-thin slices from a tomato in seconds, while the wide blade is also ideal for scooping up prepped ingredients and transferring them to the pot. The fine cutting edge ensures exceptional sharpness but should not be used on bones or very hard fruits (such as coconuts); instead, we recommend a Cleaver or Butchers Knife.
