If your looking for a plump rolled arm that's nice to lay your head on, this will disappoint -- as will the interior padding and throw pillows. The pillow-fringe is sparse. The fabric feels thin and rough to the touch. It's advertised as a synthetic/cotton mix, but it's hard to feel the cotton. Not a piece around which to center a room or color-scheme. This is a very pretty dresser. I bought the off white color with dark gray/black top. I wish it was more white then cream but it is still pretty. It took my husband and I 3.5 hours to build. The instructions aren't very clear and we had to redo the drawer slides in the end. Quite the project!! The drawers aren't very deep so keep that in mind when considering buying this dresser.
