The underside of the cushions is not upholstered. Seams are obvious generally, but especially so around the nail-head assembly of the arms. If your looking for a plump rolled arm that's nice to lay your head on, this will disappoint -- as will the interior padding and throw pillows. The pillow-fringe is sparse. The fabric feels thin and rough to the touch. It's advertised as a synthetic/cotton mix, but it's hard to feel the cotton. Not a piece around which to center a room or color-scheme. However you just have to know how to put things together. -some of pre-drilled holes might be just a little bit off but common sense you line everything up. -Such as specifically the black tracks; line to the edge of the wood (do them all the same as the last) If for any reason, your drawers didn’t sit on the tracks and fit in correctly, there is a way to fix it - just go back and check your work.
