It took longer than expected to receive the countertop but it arrived in immaculate condition and looks amazing. I put on 3 thin coats of wipe-on water based satin polyurethane to protect it and sanded lightly with steel wool in between coats. These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. This vinyl film was so worth the purchase. The price seemed reasonable and the concrete pattern is really attractive and almost realistic. I used it to cover MDF countertops for a quick kitchen upgrade. They were easy to apply and trim to fit the counters. If I needed to adjust them I could do so before the adhesive set completely. Over the first 24 hours it was on the air bubbles appeared but were easy to push to the edge and out.
