Love everything about this table. It’s a beast, though! I typically will assemble most pieces but paid for the professional assembly for this and it was totally worth it. Generous space for 4 but enough space for 6 if you wanted to seat anyone on the ends. Love the built in wine rack, shelves and drawers. Paired it with counter height stools (also from Wayfair). Amy. Bring timeless mid-century elegance to your home with this 59-inch rectangular kitchen island. Offered in finishes, its smooth lines and classic fluted details instantly elevate any room. The 1.18-inch-thick MDF top showcases authentic natural wood grain, delivering both beauty and durability—scratch-, stain-, and splinter-resistant for effortless upkeep. Thoughtful side storage includes a felt-lined drawer, two cabinets, and built-in slots for four wine bottles, keeping napkins, utensils, and dinnerware dust-free and within reach. Beyond the dining room, the versatile design doubles as a kitchen island, office desk, or casual meeting table.

Just what I was looking for! Really nice quality piece for the price and fits my space perfectly. Fairly straight forward assembly, a bit heavy so would be easier with two people. I used a drill which saved a lot of time. Took about 1 12 hours. There is a support piece that comes down from the top of the table a bit, so if you want stool that slide all the way under, opt for something 29 inches shorter (mine pictured are about 26 inches). Kitchen Island with Storage: Spacious countertop for easy meal prep; bottom two-tier open shelves keep cookware, utensils and daily essentials handy.

It’s a very nice kitchen island, especially considering that it’s made of plywood. I will say that it sits a little higher than my countertops than I expected, even though I measured beforehand. I believe the extra height may be intentional to accommodate stool seating. Overall, though, I’m very happy with it! I’m currently upgrading my kitchen and redoing my cabinets, so I needed to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing the look I wanted. This island was a great solution. It looks beautiful in my kitchen, provides plenty of extra workspace, and has become the perfect gathering spot for my guests while I’m cooking.. Katherine. Wauwatosa, WI. Mon Sep 28 2026
