This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I’ve already got blankets and remotes stashed in there. Comfort level is great for everyday use, sinks in just enough without feeling like you’re stuck. The chaise section is a nice bonus for stretching out. Only thing I’d flag is the white fabric will probably show stains or sun fading over time, so keep that in mind if you’ve got kids or pets. For the most part I love this! The cushions are a little on the firmer side but I like that. It was easy to put together and I was able to do it myself. There are 2 things I would change but obviously they aren’t deal breakers. The backs are a little too upright. Even just an inch or two more recline would make this so much more comfortable.
