The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. This sofa looks absolutely amazing in person and is well worth the value! I’m really happy with the overall look and feel. The only issue I ran into was during assembly. The platformbase that goes underneath the cushions doesn’t seem to sit exactly where it’s supposed to. I believe it will still be fine to sit on and use, but it’s definitely something worth noting. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa.
