I machine washed on cool and dryer on 2 delicate cycles and it came out fine, no shrinkage or wrinkles. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set.
