There were a few snags and loose threads which I found before washing it (reason for the 4 stars), but I just cut them off and it’s not noticeable. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it after a shower yet and test its non-slip abilities, but it’s a very thick and heavy mat so I don’t think I’ll have issues. I love the quality - it's very hard now to find cotton bathmats that don't have rubber on the back - although I wish both sides were knotted. One side is tufted, which gets smashed down when wet. Apparently, that's supposed to be the "right" side and my other complaint is that the labels were sewn into the edge of the knotted side, which I use most often. These are excellent bathmats. They are very thick and soft and come in a large size that is very hard to find. I have ordered these before and will continue to do so. My only issue is that they come in a two-pack. I would rather get one and have the opportunity to order more colors.
