The mediterranean Organic beach towels are THE best! Sometimes I find the heavier cotton towels cumbersome to handle, little fuzzies when trying to dry off and more in the dryer lint tray....These are oversized, absorbs water, quickly dries (air or machine), no fuzzies and everyone loves them. I would recommend the string knots to be pulled tighter prior to use, so they don't unravel in the first washing. Beautiful color, just like photo on website. It could be used for many purposes! My first turkish cotton beach towel. I wasn't sure what to expect, except that reviews on others is that they are very thin. And ones I've seen at the beach appear very thin. This is not very thin, though much thinner than my heavy weight beach towels. I haven't used it on the beach yet. I really like the look of this towel with the stripes and tassels! I've been impressed with how lightweight and thin it is, yet it still absorbs and dries quickly. I live by the beach and can easily tuck this in my bag, it doesn't take up much room like the other bulkier towels that I own. The peshtemal weave repels sand and dirt which has been helpful when I'm at the beach or playground with my baby. This luxury towel is stonewashed, giving it a broken-in look and soft feel. Turkish towels are very thin (like a bedsheet) and fold small to store nicely in a linen closet or to pack light in a suitcase, gym bag, or pool tote.
