I love this little table and chairs! It was really easy to put together and it’s very sturdy. Only 2 issues during install: #1 they sent 7 wooden plugs fur the chairs instead of 8 and apparently you need to buy wood glue to put them in, which is no biggie, I can pick up an extra at the hardware store. #2 there were no guide marks on the bottom of the table to show where to attach the brackets. Note, I’m not judging the review on the issues I had with damage (maybe I should?), because those were remedied by Wayfair in a reasonable way with replacements and partial refunds. For the record, first table had screws coming through the table top and a chair was broken during “enhanced delivery” assembly. Second table had a support rail underneath broken off.. Anonymous. Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length. This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant. I have been using it since and so far nothing has cracked or gotten loose. I would say the boxes were heavy but I could manage and even with all the moving around, nothing arrived scratched or damaged. Special thanks to the FedEx tracking that kept me posted on the delivery so I was able to get the delivery guy to leave the boxes where it was easy for me to collect.
