From the Claire Murray Nantucket Colonial, this dramatic Claire Murray Nantucket Colonial 16 in x 16 x 11 in Birdhouse might be seen overlooking the dunes of “Sconset'' or maybe looks like your next-door neighbor's house. Birds will love the commanding view from the widow's walk or will most certainly enjoy pushing the fledglings out of this 3 story masterpiece. The house is big, so it will require a post mounting or one of our signature pedestals. Constructed of kiln-dried hardwood, exterior grade ply-board, and finished with outdoor paint.

A year later and many storms later, this birdhouse still looks as it did when I bought it. We did put a thin coat of clear sealant on it as well. Everyone walking by compliments it.. Danielle. Tuckerton, NJ. Thu Sep 10 2026

This area rug brings a classic plaid motif to your space with its soft, weathered finish. It's hand-woven from a blend of wool, cotton, and nylon, offering a natural feel underfoot while maintaining everyday resilience. The low pile height keeps the profile slim, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas or placement under opening doors. It also features a decorative fringed edge for a layer of tactile texture in your home. Plus, the stain-resistant material helps your rug stand up to spills in busy households. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

I live in a little ornate Victorian here in Eureka, CA, Zone 9b. So I was surprised to find this wonderful Victorian birdhouse on Wayfair. I'm 78 and arthritic, so I'll have to find a nice young helper to put it up on a tall post, but it will spotlight the historic nature of Old Town and its detailed Victorian architecture. My house and garden will be on Eureka Heritage Society's Annual Home and Garden Tour in June of 2027, and my recent Wayfair purchases will draw folks to the back corner bird sanctuary designed by Wayfair sellers of birdhouses, birdbaths, bird feeders, wind chimes, and weather vanes. What a fun project!. Anonymous. Eureka, CA. Thu Sep 24 2026

Constructed with today's birds in mind, the home bazaar's charming 1920s Dutch colonial home sports its distinctive profile. It's not uncommon to hear it described as a barn house. The double-angled, gambrel roof allowed a complete second story to be built at minimal expense. One infamous Dutch colonial, the Amityville horror house, situated in a suburban neighborhood in long island, new york was the site of a series of mysterious murders. To this day, Amityville residents report paranormal phenomena in and around the house. A hole will allow wrens, finches, chickadees, nuthatches, and titmice to nest. The roof is topped with sturdy pine shingles. Ventilation, drainage, and a removable back wall make this birdhouse as functional as it is spooky.
