I like it very much. It was easy to put together. It only took a few minutes not long and it was not frustrating or tiring. I have a herniated disc and it flares up quite often so I get it out and wheel it into the living room and I can sleep on it most of the time pain free through the night. The mattress is firm but it has a memory foam top on it that makes it firm yet very comfortable. Where my back hurts real bad after doing chores around my house to keep it going. I sleep on it.. Ben. A series of slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need to get are two mattresses (sold separately).

When all folded up and tucked away, this piece probably just looks like your classic cabinet – but expand it and you've got a bed that's ready to sleep guests in seconds! Measuring 25.7'' H x 64'' W x 80.3'' L and concealing a queen bed inside, it's perfect for spare bedrooms and dens alike. Plus, it lends traditional appeal to your ensemble with a solid wood and metal frame with 4 color options to choose from.

I was looking for an extra bed without the commitment of a full-time bedroom, and this Murphy bed fit the bill. It took about 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I referenced the assembly youtube to help get the actual visual process along the way. There were reviews about the mattress not being super comfortable (I would agree- functional, not what I would offer to a guest), so I purchased a memory topper for when it's being used. It is easy to transform to a bed. I did also make sure I had a rug to put under it, as someone commented that the one frame piece is not connected to the rest of the frame when in bed form and might move around. It is a quality piece of furniture, looks lovely in both forms, and has made my bonus room an extra space for guests.. Sarah. Forks, WA. Sat Nov 12 2022

Practical but Not Very Comfortable This foldable bed is very practical and convenient, especially when you need an extra sleeping space or a temporary bed. It is easy to fold and store. It works well for occasional use, but I wouldn’t recommend it for long periods of sleeping.. Betty. Sat Oct 10 2026

Purchased for guest bed. There were no measurements for the couch and it turned out after putting the whole thing together the couch cushions were only 7 inches off the floor.
