The bright colors are perfect for our retro kitchen, they wash up well. They do have to have the screws tightened about once/year or so and the screw caps sometimes pop off. The chairs are nice but there were several issues assembling them. The screws did not line up very well with the holes they were supposed to screw into. One hole was filled with glue or something and we spent at least 30 minutes trying to get the bolt threaded.
