Structurally well built. Instructional pictures could be a bit bigger and some of the parts didn’t have letter stickers but overall well pleased. Daughter loves lights. It did take us 4 hours, we are older parents. You do need to be able to crawl around on the floor most of the time to assemble it. The new memory foam is just released and is still inflating so it looks weird. We went with the 10” mattress so it should come right up to the bottom of the headboard/side board. We ended up using a lot of our own tools and I expect it would have taken twice as long without those. Beautiful bed, quite annoying to put together. The long piece that makes up the bottom of the shelf portion sags in the middle and there isnt a great way to give it more support. Generally the bed feels very sturdy and the big side shelf on top is a fabulous place to display all the little things kids love to display. We had an odd shaped room that needed a bed bigger than a twin. This bed fits perfectly in the corner and freed up so much floorspace!
