I really love this cabinet. It was fairly easy to put together. I did have to undo and redo a few joinings because the pieces were upside down. They give you extra hardware. My condo was built in the 1920s and so is seriously lacking in storage. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. They do have soft close which is a great addition. The hanging space is tight, no sweaters or bulky items would fit. The space is only a small amount larger than an adult hanger. Might work better for small kids clothing. The hanging space is enough for a dress or longer coat lengthwise. The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. Looks great, sturdy, but overengineered in some places while underengineered in others. The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver.
