This type of leather is susceptible to it and it does make it look a bit aged. I'm not sure how I feel about it and will likely try to buff it to see if it improves. It also easily shows scratches. Aside from that, it is incredibly comfortable and is the perfect height for our Colin live edge dining table. The product info indicates it seats 3, but our whole family of 4 fit with room for another person or two. It's super spacious and is perfect in our great room. The color online is definitely different in person. I originally purchased crypton nomad and online it looks like a purple beige light color - in person it is much darker and has a yellowness to it. I ended up exchanging for the orly natural and am happy with this for my space but same thing the color is off. Online is looks like a light grey/white color and in person it is very grey and darker.
