Structurally well built. Instructional pictures could be a bit bigger and some of the parts didn’t have letter stickers but overall well pleased. Daughter loves lights. It did take us 4 hours, we are older parents. You do need to be able to crawl around on the floor most of the time to assemble it. The new memory foam is just released and is still inflating so it looks weird. We went with the 10” mattress so it should come right up to the bottom of the headboard/side board. The bed turned out to be exactly what my son wanted, and he loves it. The assembly took a while, and the instructions rely mostly on pictures, which can be a bit hard to follow. I saw some reviews mentioning issues with the mattress fasteners, but we used two on each open side and have not had any problems. We ended up using a lot of our own tools and I expect it would have taken twice as long without those. We bought this for our soon-to-be 3yo and it’s perfect. Our daughter loves it and is excited to finally be a big girl in her big girl bed. We were a little apprehensive about purchasing this bed as there was only 1 other review that was good and had pictures as described.
