This is a very nice cabinet. Assembly is the cam and lock style which is very common for furniture. If you've done that before, assembly is easy. If you haven't, just go slow and follow the directions. They are pretty self-explanatory. Assembly can be done by one person, but there are a couple steps where it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. I love this Farmhouse Coffee Bar Cabinet. The shipping and delivery were great. I was a little worried when I opened the box and saw all the parts and hardware. Thirty three parts and fifty eight steps later I was ready to start using my beautiful coffee bar. All the pieces fit together beautifully. The picture instructions were easy to follow. I am a seventy three year old female. I put this together by myself. I worked on it off and on for 4 hours. I stopped for coffee and to take the fur babies outside a few times.
