I love the lamp, was exactly what I was looking for in my living room! The only reason I’m giving it a 4/5 is because though I believe it was packaged well, there was a slight dent on the wood. However because the paint wasn’t missing and it’s not as noticeable, I’m okay with keeping it. It looks and feels great quality which is another reason I’m okay with keeping. The real Crema Marfil is quarried near Alicante, Spain, and is technically limestone. However, it is widely labeled as a Marble because it can be polished to a high shine. It has a subtle beige veined background and is an excellent material if you are looking for a gentle warm neutral color palette. Please beware of less expensive options on the market quarried often from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, or China as they have less desirable yellow, pink or red hues.
