They are machine washable and you can dry them in a dryer. You can also dry them outside in the sun or inside (air dry). The fabric is durable and should stand up well to multiple washing/drying.

I had very low expectations for this throw to cool in any way, boy was I wrong!!! After 10 minutes of wearing it I had to remove it just to get warm! I am a hot sleeper and live in a very small apartment that is hot all year long. This throw is just mind- blowing!! My 22 yr old son tried it and now wants one for himself. Well sewn very slinky material, no funky smell at all and so soft. My reason for taking away a star is because the material is VERY slippery and slides off of you with the slightest movement but I dont see any way possible to change this because of the material.
