Cool Star Sheepskin Rug

A real sheepskin, tanned whole with the wool left on, so the pelt keeps its natural outline and the fleece falls the way it grew. Every skin is different in shape, length and tone, and no two are ever the same. The wool is soft and deep underfoot, backed in white leather the way sheepskins have always been finished, and it works on the floor beside a bed, thrown over the back of a chair or layered across a bench. Choose natural white, gray tip or brown tip, from a single pelt up to eight sewn together for a larger footprint. Real sheepskin rather than a synthetic, it shakes out and spot cleans.

It fits the chair. Not sure how it will endure but it didn’t break the bank. Anonymous. Tue Oct 27 2026

Add a soft touch to your floors with this sheepskin rug, perfect for keeping toes warm on chilly mornings. Position it in your hallway or at the foot of your master bedroom for a sense of luxury. Perennially chic, these natural sheepskin rugs are much more than deliciously soft underfoot. They lend an ambiance of warmth to any room with a look that is light, airy, and neutral in color. Sheepskins are naturally rich in lanolin, which adds luster and protects the rug from spills. Made in China, versatile sheepskin rugs are favored by interior designers as the perfect urban decorating theme. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors to remove them.

Really gorgeous, soft well made. I have used this in a wide variety of ways - atop the foot of my bed as a decorationextra warmth, by a fireside for a romantic night with my hunny (beware of slight shedding, but nothing to derail festivities), and now it’s found it’s home cushioning the accent chair in my living room. Brushes out nicely too if it starts to get a little marled from wear! There are definitely natural variations in coloring so if you want something stark white, this isn’t for you. A genuine Icelandic sheepskin, tanned whole with the fleece left on. Icelandic sheep grow a long double coat, so the wool falls in loose curls rather than the short dense pile of a standard sheepskin, and it catches the light differently across the surface. Every pelt is different in shape, curl and tone, and no two are ever the same. The wool sits on a white leather backing, the traditional sheepskin finish, and the single pelt measures roughly 2 by 3 feet. Use it on the floor beside a bed, thrown over the back of a chair or layered across a bench. Real sheepskin rather than a synthetic, it shakes out and spot cleans.

I love this rug. I have my original one I purchased from JCPenney‘s 15 years ago it holds up very nicely. My new one is just as perfect very well made. Anonymous. Sun Sep 06 2026

Give your home a fresh new look with the timeless design of this area rug. It has an extremely authentic look and feels that will be the perfect addition to your family room, den or bedroom. Its versatile natural appearance will add a charming touch to contemporary, glam, bohemian, shabby elegance, or transitional styles of decor.

My teenaged son loves this rug! I’m so glad we chose the one with a flat head as I think the one with a fully stuffed head, although a bit cooler to look at, would have been a trip hazard in his room. The ‘fur’ is full and soft to run your toes through or lie on. And overall it’s a fun addition to his bedroom. I was a bit worried when it arrived as the box was much smaller than I thought it would be. And BE AWARE that the rug is just rolled into the box without any plastic wrapping so open the box carefully or you could cut through some of the fur. I think it is a bit pricey for what it is but in my son’s eyes with every penny.. Dee. California. Sat May 23 2026
