Chestnut Poly

This solid wood bookcase is the perfect size for any space. At 32" high, it provides ample storage, but doesn't overpower. We use real wood and screws with plugs in our construction - not MDF, air nails, or Staples. Some minor assembly at home is required; instructions and hardware included. Overall dimensions of 36" W x 10" D x 32" H with three openings that allow for 33"W x 8.5"D x 9.25"H. We do not use highly processed wood, because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.

For the price this is good quality and I may buy a second one. However some negatives: I used a drill to assemble, and it would probably take forever and a few blister with the provided tool. The hinges don’t have pre drilled holes - that would have made it a lot easier. And the biggest issue is there a 1/4 inch gap between the door top and the door so it will need extra water proofing (and this isn’t a one off manufacturing issue - the gap is in the directions picture. Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value..
