This lovely bench matches the convertible bench/table set perfectly. It fits nicely at the end of the table to allow for expanded seating. And of course, it works well in any other place you might choose to put it as well.

I thought the bench was a little pricy at first, but after assembling, it proved to be worth the purchase. Assembly was pretty easy, we did use wood glue and clamps to reinforce because it will be used outside and in the mountains. The only drawback was the packaging. There was no way of removing the bench pieces from the box without splitting the entire box open. Foam was sprayed into the box around the already packaged pieces. If you planned to return the item, you would have to reconstruct the box. No way of breaking down the box and recycling. We like to give their customers choices because everybody has different space and personal requirements. Use the single tables end to end for a long buffet or for a narrow deck. I would have given this 5-stars except the benches really only fit 1.5 adults. It does fit 2 kids under 10 so would make a perfect kids table once we get a full size set. We just put this bench together this past weekend. Since it rained this past week, we didn't have an opportunity to use the bench/table at all. I when I went over to take a look at it for my review, I noticed several places where the finish already came off. It will need to be touched up and then have sealer applied. For the price, I would not have expected this to have happened. The functionality of the bench table will work well for us though. We have a 5'x8' patio area that used to have a swing. I love the product, so much so I bought 2. However, when I went to place them together to make a complete table, one of the benches was a little off making the upper level uneven. Maybe I tightened it too much, its slight but a little annoying. I still use the entire table but am leery of placing anything in the middle due to the raised section. I keep trying, even thought my deck was the issue and tried to add a shim, nothing worked, I cant get it to align.(Correction, it was an assembly adjustment, all good now, great product ). Helen.
