I’m using this console table as a changing table, and it’s been perfect in terms of height and depth—something I struggled to find elsewhere. While it was backordered and shipped later than expected after a few delays, it was absolutely worth the wait. The table is real wood and handcrafted, so there are some minor imperfections, but that’s to be expected and adds to its charm. The interior shelves are well-made and the magnetic closures are a nice touch. The color is slightly different than pictured—more of a deeper mahogany—but it’s gorgeous in person. its very heavy. it was fairly easy to assemble, but the door on the left sits higher than the others. im not sure why, but intried to compensate by attaching it lower. it measures the same as the other doors, so notnsure whats up. Beautiful high quality piece of furniture. The TV stand is hard wood (not MDF), very sturdy, and a lovely walnut color (as pictured online). Fits in perfectly with our decor. However, there was a major problem with the right side panel. The drill holes and recesses for the hinges were off by at least an inch. Thanks to my husband’s expert carpentry skills, he was able to create a workable solution. Otherwise, it would have required disassembling and waiting for a replacement side panel. This defect caused much frustration and interior “hacking” of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Not happy with this major oversight on the part of the manufacturer. We got this on sale and it makes me wonder if Wayfair reserves defective furniture like this for their sale items, since most reviewers don’t mention defective pieces.. Carla E. Maryland.
