I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The only draw back is that over time the mattress shifts one or two inches on the frame; however it is very easy to shift the mattress back so it aligns with the headboard.. Edisa. NY. The frame is very sturdy, and the product was not difficult to assemble, although there were many parts involved, which takes quite a bit of time to complete the assembly. It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour.
