I’ve always been curious about Magic mushrooms. For years I’ve thought about one day taking the leap and trying them. Tragically, access to psychedelics in this country is abysmal. After months of consideration, I was able to obtain some and so began the preparation for my journey. I was advised to set a comfortable environment. Pleasant music, quiet. I came across this lamp and thought “what a cute little toy lamp.” I mean, for 25 how nice can this be, right WRONG. I was SHOCKED by the quality of this lamp. This is not a 25 lamp this is ART. The pattern of the paint makes it look like jade from afar. It was perfect for my psychedelic trip. Turns out I’m allergic to magic mushrooms. I didn’t get a trip. Just a runny nose and so many trips to the bathroom you would’ve thought I pounded down 6 pints of ale. Sadly, my journey with psychedelics ends here. Hand-Blown Glass Table Lamp and Wall Light A glossy donut-shaped lamp in hand-blown glass, available in a warm burnt orange or magenta pink with a soft pink glow , with a hand-painted interior that gives each piece its own subtle variations. Set it on a console, bedside table, or mount it directly to the wall. The chrome button in the center controls brightness with a stepless touch dimmer, so you can take it from a soft background glow to something more present. The shape is playful without being kitsch. It reads as a considered design object rather than a novelty, and it looks good switched off too. One customer described it as "that one item that fills in the gap" in a room, which is about right.

Super chic and provides a nice glow. Love the three settings. The glass when lit up is kind of mottled which surprised me. Like the color is uneven. Still an interesting light at a great price point.. Pier. Washington, Dc. Tue May 05 2026
