The one I ordered had black in the coloring through the back end with a stripe up the back. There is also black around the beak, and the feet are black. Fantastic, 7222025, piece literally fell apart over the winter. YI would never buy one again the picture of it together is when it first arrived. 2nd picture is what it looks like today. This pelican is so adorable! I really love it. First of all, its colors are so beautiful and vibrant and they are so pretty. It looks so nice on my front porch and really stands out and adds so much to the porch and I really like that you can see it so well from the road too. It’s a great focal point for the porch or anywhere else you want to put it. I think it would look great by a pool if you have one, or even indoors. The quality of it is very good too. It is kind of heavy so it’s not going to blow over all the time and it also comes with a stake to hold it down too. Unfortunately that only really helps if it’s in a grassy area or a flowerbed. It’s made of a real nice metal and the details on it are really cool. It’s also bigger than I was expecting so I’m happy about. I’ve already had several compliments on it and everyone loves it and says how cute it is. My favorite part about it is the beak. It’s so big and colorful and the detail on it looks so adorable. This is a nice bird bath. I wanted one that blends into my yard and wasn’t ornate and this fits that bill perfectly. It is hollow inside so it does need to be on solid, flat ground. Note that it isn’t perfectly level at its base so while it sits just fine it is at a slight angle - you can see where the water isn’t level in the bowl. There is no base stake so not sure why that is in the title but it isn’t needed and not sure how it would work anyway. And most importantly, the birds came right to and have continued to use it..
