Now that the fall has arrived birds are making frequent visit to bathe and the squirrels think it's there public drinking fountain. I’m pleased with the quality and the design of the birdbath. The birds came immediately and fought over a space in the bowl. However, I do have one gripe. This arrived yesterday. It came direct from the manufacturer in a large heavy duty cardboard box with an incredible amount of heavy paper packing material. The fountain is the large model and is exactly as described dimensions wise. Was easy to assemble although I had a nozzle type piece with no idea what to do with. Anyhow it works just like the picture with about a 2-3” high flow with the pump on high. The pump is very quiet and the water flow makes minimal noise. The pump has a swing vane on the inlet to control flow. The power cord is about 14 feet long. I bought it to attract hummingbirds but no luck yet. Very happy with this fountain and recommend it.. Fantastic, 7222025, piece literally fell apart over the winter. YI would never buy one again the picture of it together is when it first arrived. 2nd picture is what it looks like today. I had to throw the base part away when the part of the bowl that connects to the base broke. Bowl cracked tried to use cement but that didn’t work either. Waste of money. Was very disappointed.. Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. The top bubbler is very wobbly. All in all the fountain looks nice just need to tweak the pump I guess. Not very easy to adjust the pump sine it’s enclosed. Beautiful fountain with excellent quality! Its very heavy, but thats to be expected given the solid construction, and the weight is clearly noted in the product specifications. The touch of copper is a fun little accent, and the overall design has a charming old-world European feel—exactly what I was looking for. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons 1. Pump speed It has three speed settings, but I didnt notice any difference in the water flow between them. The three-tier waterfall is a bit louder than I expected for my small patio, so I was hoping to be able to reduce the flow. That said, the sound is still lovely, and Im very happy with it overall. 2. Setup It was covered in a black soot-like residue when I unpacked and assembled it. By the time I was finished, I looked like one of the chimney sweep backup dancers from Mary Poppins!. Susanna. I love this Fountain however, about the plastic plug at the base of the bottom bowl tends to pop up and allow water to drain, my handyman was able to Jerry rig a system that holds the plug down so problem is solved but manufacturer should address.
